Queen Bee hosts three monthly jams that are free and open to the public:

Folk Jam | 4th Thursdays, 7pm-8:30pm

Bluegrass & Bagels Jam | 2nd Sundays, 10am-12pm

at Railyard Park Conservancy

Old-Time Jam | 1st Sundays, 4pm-6pm

at Tumbleroot Brewery & Distillery

Beginner-Friendly

Beginner/Intermediate

Folk Jam

4th Thursdays, from 7-8:30pm

at El Rey Court / La Reina Bar in the living room

Open to all levels and all instruments, come jam your favorite folk tunes. Don't know a bunch of tunes? No problem, we'll bring song books to select from.

Old-Time Jam

1st Sundays, from 4-6pm

Inside at Tumbleroot Brewery & Distillery​

​

Led by Eric Carlson, we’ll be playing and sharing our favorite old-time fiddle tunes by ear! All instruments are welcome, but we most commonly see fiddle, banjo, mandolin, guitar, and upright bass. 

​

Intermediate/Advanced

Bluegrass & Bagels Jam

2nd Sundays, from 10am-12pm

at Railyard Park Conservancy

Come on down to the Railyard Park Conservancy's Community Room for a monthly bluegrass jam, led by Greg Neal! This jam is held in a traditional bluegrass format–participants take turn calling and leading songs in a circle. All instruments are welcome, but we most commonly see guitar, mandolin, fiddle, ukulele, banjo and upright bass.

 

Bagels and coffee are generously provided by Boultawn's Bagelry and Café

​

The Railyard Park Conservancy's Community Room is located adjacent to SITE Santa Fe's parking lot, in the silver building.

Songwriters Circle

1st Thursdays, from 6:30-8pm

at Queen Bee Music Association

Calling all songwriters, our song circles are an opportunity to get inspired, workshop your songs, and gather feedback from peers and professional musicians in Santa Fe. â€‹

​

This free monthly event gathers musicians, seasoned and aspiring songwriters, and wordsmiths. All instruments are welcome, and we have a keyboard and speakers available for those who need them.
